Dallas Police officer may be terminated after DWI arrest

A Dallas police officer that was arrested for a DWI in March is now facing termination because of it.

The arrest occurred in Denton County when he was stopped for speeding. After the man was pulled over, he was arrested for suspicion of drunk driving.

The case is currently pending at this time, but an assistant chief has recently recommended that the man be terminated for the incident. The police chief will make the final decision on whether or not he will be terminated. The officer in question has worked with the force since 2001.
