Man wrongfully jailed for 25 years, arrested for drug charge

A man that was exonerated after 25 years in prison when new DNA evidence was found, was arrested again two weeks ago on a drug charge.

The man was wrongfully convicted of multiple sex crimes, but was released from prison in 2008 after serving 25 years for a crime that he did not commit.

After a person is wrongfully convicted, the state owes them thousands of dollars in compensation. If he is convicted of the felony he will not receive the payments or health insurance from the state.
