Wal-Mart Heiress arrested for DWI on birthday

The Wal-Mart heiress, Alice Walton, was arrested after for allegedly drunk driving after her birthday dinner last week.

According to state troopers, the incident occurred in the Dallas-Fort Worth area when the woman was caught speeding. Once she was pulled over, she showed signs of intoxication which lead police to perform a field sobriety test.

After refusing a breathalyzer test, Walton was arrested and spend Friday night in jail. On Saturday, she posted a $1,000 bond and was released. This is Walton’s second DWI arrest, in 1998 she was convicted with the charge. Walton is the daughter of the late found of Wal-Mart, Sam Walton.
