High school band director arrested for drunk driving

A high school band director has been arrested for suspicion of drunk driving while in San Antonio for the high school marching band contest.

According to officials, the 62-year-old man was arrested and charged with a DWI just before midnight on Monday. He is the director of the band at Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown.

The director has been put on administrative leave as a result of the pending investigation. School officials have said that they will also be conducting an internal investigation.
