Dallas police make three separate DWI arrests in same place

Dallas police made three separate DWI arrests while investigating an accident on late Monday night.

According to officials involved in the arrests, the incident began at 11:40 p.m. when a 24-year-old man struck another vehicle while on the northbound lanes of the North Central Expressway.

The man was suspected of drunk driving, but before police could make an arrest, a second car struck the back of the stopped patrol car.

Just over an hour later, the police man whose patrol car was struck, spotted another suspected drunk driver and he was also arrested. Neither police officer was injured in the accident.
